P2756: Torque Converter Clutch Press Ctrl Solenoid OBD-II Trouble Code

The torque converter clutch allows the engine and transmission to fully or partially lock into a 1:1 direct drive to improve fuel efficiency and performance. If the ECU detects that the TCC pressure control solenoid is not functioning properly, it may not have the right amount of hydraulic pressure needed to engage or disengage the torque converter clutch. In this scenario, a P2756 DTC will be stored.
