P1716 Nissan DTC: Turbine Revolution Speed Sensor Circuit

The Nissan turbine revolution speed sensor /TSS1/TSS2 tells the ECU how fast the turbine shaft inside of the transmission is spinning. This data helps the engine control unit determine which gear the transmission should be in. A P1716 OBDII code means that there is a problem with the Nissan TSS sensors.
