The manual shifting function provided by the +/- | up/down gate on your shifter (or paddles/buttons on the steering wheel) is made possible by an auto stick shift switch/transmission shift switch, mode actuator and the obligatory wires and connectors. If there is an unusually high-voltage signal coming from somewhere within this circuit, a P0958 DTC will be saved by the ECU.
