Problem – One of the more common JF015E / RE0F11A valve body problems can cause a shaking, bumping or shuddering/sensation to come from the transmission during acceleration. This may also be accompanied by a hesitation, lack of power and or a RPM flare. The following diagnostic codes may also be present: P0746, P0846, P0868, P0965, P17F0, P17F1, P17F2, P17F3, P17F4, P2857, P2858, P2859, P285A.
Solution – In order to solve this issue, the JF015E / RE0F11A valve body/control valve, and possibly the oil pump will have to be replaced.
Drivability issues
Problem – Another of the most common JF015E / RE0F11A valve body problem has to do with fine metal particles damaging the valves, bores and solenoids. This can cause a number of drivability issues, like preventing your Nissan CVT from changing ratios.
