Hi,
I just have a question regarding my car’s transmission. I’m a newbie to manual transmission so I’m not sure what I’m experiencing is okay. I noticed when I shift into 3rd gear or higher, I could feel vibrations coming from the steering wheel and the shifter when my hand is on it and about to shift to the next gear. I tried holding the gear knob really lightly because I know if I apply too much pressure onto the shifter, it will wear out in the future. Even resting my hand on the gear knob lightly, I could still feel the vibration. Its like a clicking sensation coming from both the steering wheel and the gear knob. Is that normal or do I need to be concerned about it and get it checked? There wasn’t any clicking feeling before when I got it new. It started today when I was driving normally like any other day.
