My car’s tyranny makes a vibrating noise when I shift the gear from P to Reverse while it is cold but once hot(within 5-0 minutes) this noise dissappear and it runs smoothly with smooth gear changes.The last gear oil change was at 60, 000km.This only happens in the morning.There is no noise in any other gears.The gear oil level is good.

Free estimate to your email.I was looking through a couple of Civic forums to see if there might be a common thread with your problem and I believe I have found it. Believe it or not, the problem isn’t in the transmission. More than likely, you will find that one of your engine mounts is cracked. I suspect that you will find the right front engine mount may be cracked. It should cost you anywhere between $300 and $500 to replace. Let me know if this fixes the problem.
