Alto With F8D, Transmission Issues

Hi,

First of all thanks for all the info that has been put up in this article.

Needless to say I am experiencing issues with my transmission. It is a Suzuki Alto with F8D engine (Suzuki code) and a manual transmission.
During its third service a gear oil change was executed however only this time around the car was serviced in my absence since I had left it there.
That was in September of 2014 when India is still relatively warm. During winters I experienced that my gears during cold hours were pretty jammed (perhaps the gear oil getting dense) and that problem went away after the car had been run for sometime or during warmer hours like the afternoon. Another issue is much enhanced clutch pedal friction if it is already in a gear. that does not happen when the car is in neutral.

Last week i had a grinding noise from the transmission in neutral which went away when the clutch pedal was pressed and returned after it was released. Fortunately the sound went away after 5 minutes or so when the engine had warmed up a bit. This has not happened since but to me all of it points towards either a low gear oil level or incorrect viscosity or both. Will be taking it to the company workshop soon (because the daily rn is not much) but I wanted to know if in your expert opinion it could be anything other than the 2 things mentioned earlier.
