    Dear Experts,

My car broke down while driving on the road. I was waiting for signal, when it turned green the car refused to move in drive mode. No signs of engine lights, noise but observed that AC and FM radio turned on automatically.

i towed the car to near by pepboys service station. post engine diagnosis, they did not find any issue
and told that issue could be with transmission.

I need your expertise in taking a decision how to proceed in this situation.

Any suggestion on what kind of repair it needs and expected price?
FYI: It recently crossed 100k miles, But it drives smooth and no other known issues with car as of now.

    Thanks in advance.

i missed to mention in the post that. It moves in reverse gear, but not in drive gear.
is it issue with the transmission?
any guess on , is it minor transmission issue or major transmission issue?
