When you are switching transmissions, the whole unit is swapped out and a new one is put in its place. Of course, the solenoids are swapped as well. It doesn’t make much sense to change out a tranny and not change the solenoids. If the one of the solenoids was bad — there are two on the Tiburon — then the issue won’t change if you just swap the transmission out and leave them in place.
