Hi,
I own a Touran late 2012 automatic diesel 1.6 and I have this gear issu. The car works fine and it goes in reverse, parking and I can also drive it but the car doesn’t go more than the second gear, I took it for a giagnostic and they said it’s sensor 1 in the gear selector. I wanted to ask you guys, if is it possible to just change the sensor or fix it without having to change the whole gear box? Is there any solutions at all without having to buy the expensive gear box and spend a lot of money repairing it!
