I am Driving HONDA CIVIC VTI ORIEL 2000 MODEL Since One Year In Pakistan AND its Automatic Transmission ( its wire system no Electrical system and perhaps 4 speed ).
1)In Honda Civic VTI 2000 Model car I feel it does not Pick The Speed When It Goes To A Bridge, Car RPM Might BE 2500 OR more and Car Speed is within 30-40 Km and even by Pressing ACCELATOR More speed does not increase or increase very little, but going down it look some normal speed.
    2) Shifting of Gear Feels over 2500 RPM WITH A LITTLE POWER LIKE SOME BODY PUSH THE CAR FROM BACK.
    3) ON A CLEAR ROAD I CAN DRIVE UP TO 80 KM OF SPEED AND SOME TIME I FEEL BY ACCELATRING MORE THE SPEED REMAINS UN CHANGED, IT FEELS BETTER ON PETROL THEN C.N.G
    4) FOR LAST 3 OR 4 MONTHS WHILE DRIVING CAR ON BUSY ROADS OR IN HEAVY TRAFIC, BOLING WATER FROM SIPHON BOTTLE COMES OUT AND THIS HAPPEN WITHING 5 TO 10 MINUTES IF IT IS DRVING ON AIR CONDITION, AND B4 BIOLED WATER COMES OUT BY BRUSTING WATER HEATER RUBBER STOPPER AND TEMPRATURE NEEDLE AT RED SIGN, SOME MECHANIC PUT THESE STOPPER UNDER SUPPER GLUE AND NOW THE WATER COMES OUT FROM REVESIOR BOTTLE ATTACHED WITH RADIATOR, I HAVE TO STOP LOOK THE WATER CONDITION AND RE-FILL OR CHANGE WITH COLD WATER AND THEN CONTINUE MY DRIVE.
FOR THE ABOVE SITUATION I CHANGED ‘ HEAD GASKIT ” MY ENGINE BLOCK WAS VERY GOOD NO RUST NO SPOTS AND WAS A LAVEL ONE.
AFTER CHANGING HEAD GASKIT FOUND NO CHANGE AT ALL WATER COMMING OUT WITH SAME AS B4.
OTHER DAY MECHANIC ASK TO CLEAN / SERVICE THE RADIATOR WITH A NEW REDATIOR CAP.
AFTER CLEANING RADIATOR DRIVE THE CAR ON A.C 5 TO 10 MINUTES ON A CLEAN ROAD WITH SPEED FIND THERE IS NO BOILED WATER COMING OUT OBSERVE FOR FEW DAYS. BUT AFTER 4 OR 5 DAYS THE SAME SITUATION WAS THERE CAR’S ENGINE ROOM WAS EMITTING TOO MUCH HEAT EVEN AFTER SOME DRIVE WHEN I PARK THE CAR IN MY HOUSE I KEEP THE BONUT OPEN WITH RADIATOR CAP AND RESERVIOR BOTTLE FOR 2, 3 HRS OR MORE.
AGAING I STARTED SEARCHING ANY OTHER GOOD MECHANIC AND I TOLD ALL PREVIOUS HISTORY TO NEW MECHANIC THEN HE CONCLUDE YOUR WATER BODY MIGHT NEED TO REPLACE, I IMMEDIATELY ASK PREVIOUS MECHANIC TO CHANGE THIS, I SAW THE OLD WATER BODY WAS REALLY DEMAGED 2 OR 3 FEATHERS WERE BADLY RUSTED AND ALMOS FINISHED.

AFTER FIXING THIS WATER BODY HONGKONG OR MALAYSHING MADE THERE WAS AN EXTRA SOUND OF THE FEATHERS AND SHOWS NO EFFECT OF HEATING AND SAME SITUATION OF BOLING WATER COMMING OUT FROM THE RTESERVIOR BOTTLE.
MY TOTAL COST FOR ALL ABOVE IS BELOW.
    1) HEAD GASKIT Rs, 350, Radiator cleaning Rs, 400, Head Gaski Labor Chgs Rs, 1,500 total Rs 2,250/-
    2) Water Body Price Rs,1,850 / – Labor chgs Rs1,000/- Total…………………………Rs 2,850/-
    GRAND TOTAL ………………….Rs 5,100/-

From your description, at the start, I would have said your transmission is slipping, meaning that the clutch packs and/or bands had gone on the unit. Now, I am certain that you are likely facing a transmission problem that has been misdiagnosed.

The three things that tell me this are:

    1. There’s no pickup when you press the gas
    2. The engine is overrevving
    3. “On a clear road, I can drive up to 80 KM of speed and some time I feel by accelerating more the speed remains unchanged,” as you said.

When a transmission is slipping it acts in exactly the manner you are describing.

Interestingly, there may be more going on in the transmission, as well. You see, transmissions run incredibly hot and if there is a blockage or metal-on-metal wear, it might be heating up even more. Normally, the transmission fluid cools the transmission by carrying the heat to the outside where the heat is wicked out by the transmission case. If there is a blockage, then the transmission fluid isn’t moving correctly and any heat buildup can be made worse by the fact that the transmission isn’t being cooled as well. The blockage might be at the filter, a check valve or in a return lined. It is hard to say as I am not near you to look at it.

I don’t know exactly what other damage might have been caused by all of the mis-attempts to repair the unit. Super Glue isn’t exactly on the top of my toolbox, to tell you the truth. I use it when I have to put things back together, usually — small things. I know the people you took the Civic to are trying their best, but I think you had better have the transmission looked at as soon as possible to find out just how much damage there is. My suggestion would be to find a Honda or Honda-authorized mechanic in your area and then let them do a complete workup on your vehicle as there may be more wrong with it — caused by the ongoing problems that you have tried to have repaired — than you think.

I don’t know what the exact service rate in your area of the world is, but I would guess that you are looking at a hefty bill.
